Check them outside before. The glasses didn't change to a dark color enough to open my eyes with bright sun. Great for driving and mild light conditions.
I had to swicht to Julbo with protection 4 and they are great.

These are obviously quality glasses that fit well and are fairly lightweight. They did not get dark enough for my sensitive eyes. When they were at their lightest in medium light, they were comfortable. But in bright sunlight, they just never got dark enough for me.

I use these glasses for bicycling, mountaineering, climbing, skiing, sailing, and just plain driving. If there is such a thing as high-performance sunglasses, then these are it. They're comfortable and offer great protection from wind, sun, and light precipitation. They can be used in low light and bright light. I've used them on glaciated summits and trans-oceanic sailing trips. I take them on all my trips and can only complain that the case is a little bulky. Everything else is excellent.
