Pros
Easy to pack
Good venting
Lightweight
I bought this compression sack before a bike tour, as I needed something to put my sleeping bag into. It worked great for the first few days. However, it ripped on the third or fourth time I compressed the sleeping bag in it. The rip was where the black band meets the ripstop nylon at the top, right above the strap. It seems that the sewn seams are not very well reinforced. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this to anybody who would like to compress their gear.

This is an OK compression sack, if you're going to use it lightly. I have a couple of these and have used them on a few occasions, never very roughly or for a period of time more that five or so days. While they are lightweight and do their job well (compressing,) they are poorly stitched and have a few tears in them. I would recommend them for someone wanting to use them lightly, but if you are going to be using them for backpacking, or cramming a lot in them, get something more durable.
BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
